Job summary

The CareSide in NSW is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist clients with daily activities, helping them live safely and independently at home. This casual role offers 10 hours per week with 2–3 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and requires comfort with dogs.

You will perform personal care, domestic tasks, social support, and transport to appointments, while maintaining accurate care records. Travel reimbursement and PPE are provided, with ongoing training opportunities in a supportive

Qualifications

• Fluent German is required.
• First Aid/CPR and Police clearance required.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence with vehicle.
• Smartphone for communication and care notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts (if applicable).
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.
