Job summary

The CareSide is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our SA team, assisting clients to live safely and independently at home. Availability is required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 11:30 AM–01:00 PM, with additional flexible hours offered across weekdays.

Role includes personal care, domestic support, social respite care, client transport, and accurate record-keeping. Travel reimbursement and PPE provided; part-time position in Encounter Bay, SA.

Qualifications

• Must hold Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Must hold National Police Clearance.
• Must have a valid Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Must own a Smartphone for work communications.
• Be organised, punctual, friendly and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication prompts).
• Assist with domestic tasks (cleaning, meal prep, shopping).
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.
