Job summary

Payworx is recruiting dedicated support workers for SIL home settings and community care in Sydney and Wollongong. You will provide high-quality personal support, assist with daily activities, and monitor clients’ health in a compassionate, compliant environment.

Strong English communication, experience in mental health or complex behaviour, medication administration, and valid Australian driver’s license are highly valued. A supportive team and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Speak fluent English – Essential
• Experience in Mental Health & Complex Behaviour – Highly regarded
• Experience with immobile participants – Highly regarded
• Experience with medication administration
• Able to read and follow care plans; document shift notes & incident reports accurately
• Valid Australian Driver's License & own reliable transport
• Experience with Manual Handling
• 2–5 years in Support Work
• NDIS clearance
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Police Check
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Excellent English verbal communication skills
• NDIS orientation modules
• Infection Control cert
• Must have full working rights to work in Australia
• 3 minimum contactable references

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to clients in daily activities
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Support mobility and physical exercises for clients
• Help with household tasks and meal preparation
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report on clients' health and well-being
