Job summary

Payworx in Wollongong, NSW is hiring Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across multiple SIL homes. This casual position offers flexible shifts and the chance to support participants with diverse needs in Supported Independent Living settings.

Ideal candidates will have experience with complex behaviours, brain injury or schizophrenia support, medication administration, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• Police Check required.
• NDIS Orientation Modules completed.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
• Infection Control Training Certificate.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Supporting participants in daily living activities.
• Promoting independence and community engagement.
• Delivering care aligned with individual support plans.
• Ensuring a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.
• Collaborating with staff and team leaders to deliver care.
• Must be able to commit to PM and Sleepover shifts on a rotating roster.
