Job summary

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) is seeking a Security/Orderly Officer to maintain a secure, respectful environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will deliver security and limited patient care, respond calmly to incidents, and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and dignity across the Health Unit.

The role requires a valid South Australian Security Agent Licence, experience in security and de-escalation, and familiarity with Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Current South Australian Security Agent Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in security roles.
• Experience dealing with a wide range of people and de-escalation of violent or agitated behaviour.
• Experience using Microsoft 365.
• Ability to exercise judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security and patient care services to support safe operation of the Health Unit.
• Respond calmly to challenging situations and assist with de-escalation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to uphold safety and dignity for patients, staff and visitors.
