Job summary

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) is seeking a Security/Orderly Officer to help maintain a secure, respectful environment for patients, staff and visitors. The role combines security duties with patient care tasks to support safe operations of the Health Unit.

You will respond calmly to incidents, assist with de‑escalation and work within a multidisciplinary team, following hospital policies and procedures while ensuring safety, dignity and care for all present.

Qualifications

• Current South Australian Security Agent Licence.
• Experience in security roles.
• Experience dealing with de-escalation of violence.
• Experience using Microsoft 365.
• Ability to exercise own judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a combination of security and patient care services.
• Respond calmly to challenging situations and de-escalate when needed.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and dignity.
• Uphold hospital policies and procedures.
