Job summary

Respect Group Limited is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team at Respect Hudson House in a full-time role. The RN will deliver safe, contemporary nursing care within AHPRA scope, reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager.

Responsibilities include admissions assessments, care plan development, and medication administration. Essential requirements include AHPRA registration, knowledge of aged care standards, and a police check.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in aged care is preferred.
• Knowledge of standards for aged care.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive histories from residents or families to identify care needs during admissions and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain thorough documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans and support admissions.
• Provide direct clinical care including hygiene, massage therapy, pain management and GP rounds as required.
• Administer medications and manage ordering, storage and documentation per policy.
