Job summary

Spinal Life Australia in Cleveland and surrounds is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide hands-on care to people with spinal cord injuries, helping them live independently with dignity.

You will follow fixed fortnightly rosters, participate in training, assist with transfers, personal care, meals, and household tasks, and contribute to a supportive, safety-focused caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Hold a current driver's licence and own a reliable vehicle.
• Hold, or willing to obtain, a NDIS Workers Screening Card and Working with Children Card.
• Bring relevant experience or qualifications, or committed and passionate to learn.
• Fixed fortnightly roster with flexible shift options.

Responsibilities

• Support grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
• Assist with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as needed
• Provide personal care including toileting and bladder/bowel management
• Assist with basic wound care and self-medication
• Help with meal preparation, household duties and laundry
