Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents at our Geelong location. You will attend to personal care needs, assist with daily hygiene, and provide compassionate care tailored to each resident’s needs, including those with frailty or chronic conditions.

You will report changes to senior staff and collaborate with families and the care team to ensure wellbeing and person-centred support. Desirable to be studying Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).

Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care services to elderly or chronically ill patients.
• Proficient in activities of daily living, medication administration & monitoring.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, customer experience and planning skills.
• Desirable: studying Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).

Responsibilities

• Attends to the personal care needs of customers with a focus on those requiring additional support.
• Provides manual handling assistance and daily hygiene routines.
• Reports changes in customers' conditions to senior staff and advocates for residents' wellbeing.
• Assists with medication reminders and administration as prescribed.
