The Personal Care Worker assists customers with personal care, daily hygiene and mobility, while delivering activities to enhance physical, social, emotional, and intellectual wellbeing and reporting changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Experience in personal care for elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Certifications: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
• Preferred: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).

Responsibilities

• Attend to personal care needs with a patient-centered approach.
• Identify and report changes in residents’ conditions to senior staff.
• Support daily hygiene routines and medication reminders.
• Maintain accurate care records and incident reports.
• Provide emotional support and engagement to promote wellbeing.
• Travel may be required to support care across locations.
