NSW Health at Westmead Hospital is seeking an Orderly/Wardsperson to support safe patient transport and efficient hospital operations. In this role, you’ll safely move patients, equipment and specimens, assist with patient movements and help maintain infection prevention and service quality.

We offer permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time positions with a collaborative team environment across different hospital areas; adapt to service needs and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport patients by bed, trolley and wheelchair, along with equipment, documents and specimens.
• Assist with patient movements and positioning, including bed-to-chair transfers, sling lifters, log rolls and other manual handling activities.
• Support mortuary duties, including preparing and safely transferring deceased patients to the morgue.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service while working closely with nursing teams and other hospital staff.
• Identify and report hazards, equipment faults, incidents and patient safety concerns, and contribute to continuous improvement.
