Job summary

Healius, via its QML Pathology brand, is seeking a Pathology Collector in Cannonvale. The role involves collecting blood and other samples, delivering a calm, professional patient experience and maintaining accurate records to support timely diagnosis.

Training of 6 weeks is provided through the Healius Academy, with full-time hours for the first 2 weeks and then a minimum of 25 hours per week. The position is permanent part time (20 hours per week) Monday to Friday 10:30am–2:30pm, with casual

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential
• A background in healthcare or strong customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site
