Job summary

Laverty Pathology is seeking a Pathology Collector to join our team at HMAS Kuttabul Health Centre in Potts Point. This permanent part-time role is 18.75 hours per week, with shifts 7:30 AM to 11:15 AM, Monday to Friday, supporting patient-centred collection services.

The successful candidate will collect blood and other samples, ensure accurate handling, and provide a welcoming patient experience. Candidates may have experience in aged care, disability support, nursing, or frontline customer

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• A background in healthcare (e.g. aged care, disability, nursing) or strong customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
