Job summary

Laverty Pathology, part of the Healius group, is seeking a Pathology Collector to join our team in a patient‑facing capacity. You will collect blood and other samples, ensuring a respectful and calm experience for patients while upholding precise handling and documentation.

Experience in pathology collection is advantageous, but we welcome candidates from aged care, disability support or other customer‑facing roles who are reliable, caring and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential.
• Healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience is advantageous.
• Prior pathology collection experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care and accuracy.
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport following procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes.
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site.
