Job summary

Payworx in Wollongong, NSW is hiring Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across multiple SIL homes. This casual position offers flexible shifts and the chance to support participants with diverse needs in Supported Independent Living settings.

Ideal candidates will have experience with complex behaviours, brain injury or schizophrenia support, medication administration, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• Police Check required.
• NDIS Orientation Modules completed.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
• Infection Control Training Certificate.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Supporting participants in daily living activities.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with proven experience in:

• Complex and aggressive behaviours (highly desirable)
• Brain injury and schizophrenia support (highly desirable)
• Medication administration
• Accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports)
• Time management and adaptability across varied environments
• Fluent English - both verbal and written (non-negotiable)
