• Confirm patient identity using three approved identifiers.
• Manage appointments, telephone calls and patient enquiries efficiently.
• Recognise potentially urgent concerns and escalate them to clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic patient records.
• Process Medicare billings, payments and patient information correctly.
• Manage correspondence, recalls, reminders and incoming documents.
• Follow privacy, confidentiality, infection-control and emergency procedures.
• Assist with patient feedback, incidents and administrative follow-up.
• Support doctors, nurses and the practice team in delivering safe, coordinated patient care.
