Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Care Worker in the Sandford area to support older clients at home, helping with daily tasks and personal care. You will work to maintain independence and wellbeing, with guaranteed hours and a supportive team.

The role requires at least 3 months of related experience, a valid Australian drivers licence, and access to your own vehicle. Training and qualification opportunities are offered, including CPR/First Aid courses.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months experience in a similar professional role.
• Ability to provide personal care and support daily living activities.
• Good communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide home help services: housekeeping, bed-making, cleaning, laundry, meal prep.
• Provide personal care: assist with getting in and out of bed, dressing, monitoring medications.
• Assist with mobility and therapy goals, transport clients to activities or appointments.
• Support families by giving breaks and flexible transport as needed.
