Job summary

Silverchain is hiring Care Workers in Enfield and surrounding areas. You will help older Australians maintain independence with home help and personal care services, including meal prep, housekeeping, medication support and mobility assistance.

You must have at least 3 months in a similar role, a valid Australian driver's licence and access to your own insured vehicle. Training programs and CPR/First Aid courses are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in a similar professional role.
• Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and insured, roadworthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide general home help: housekeeping, beds, cleaning, laundry, meal prep and grocery shopping.
• Deliver personal care: assist with getting clients out of bed, showering, dressing, medications, mobility support.
• Support clients to attend lifestyle activities or appointments and provide transport where needed.
• Offer social and emotional support and liaise with families to ensure wellbeing.
