Silverchain is seeking a Home Care Worker to assist older clients at home across Blacktown and surrounding suburbs. The role focuses on practical support, wellbeing, and enabling clients to live independently with flexible outcomes.

Applicants should hold a valid Australian driver’s licence with an insured vehicle and have 3–6 months’ experience in community or aged care. Training, CPR/First Aid courses, and a dedicated support team are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• Own insured, roadworthy vehicle is required.
• Interest in community/aged care (3–6 months experience preferred).
• Comfortable working independently and solving day-to-day problems.

Responsabilités

• General housekeeping and making beds.
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Providing social support and transport to activities.
• Support family carer by enabling a break.
