Job summary

The CareSide in VIC is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our fast-growing team. You will assist clients with daily activities to help them live safely and independently at home; this role involves 2 hours per week with flexible weekday timing and travel reimbursement.

You will provide personal care, domestic tasks, social support, transport to appointments, and maintain care records. The ideal candidate holds First Aid/CPR, Police Clearance, a current Australian Driver’s Licence

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone.
• Organised, punctual, friendly, and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.
