Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a Care Support Worker to provide in-home and residential assistance across Adelaide Hills communities. The role emphasises compassionate, person-centred support, following care plans, helping with daily living tasks, mobility, and wellbeing within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to safe, clean living environments and participate in ongoing training while aligning with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and enjoy working with vulnerable people.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate with care with a wide range of diverse people including residents.
• Organised and safety‑minded with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Able to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised in-home and residential support, including personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, social support, and mobility/therapy assistance.
• Follow and contribute to individual care plans, monitor wellbeing, and report changes to coordinators.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment, including equipment and client spaces.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, participate in training and quality improvement activities.
• Comply with workplace health and safety standards, infection control, confidentiality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
