Job summary

Mercy Health in Australia is seeking compassionate carers to support clients to remain living at home through respite, personal care, domestic assistance and carer support in accordance with care plans.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, with responsibilities to listen to clients, adapt to changing needs, maintain documentation, and uphold patient-centered care. NDIS clearance and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Evidence of relevant healthcare qualification is required.
• NDIS Clearance is required.
• First Aid Certificate includes CPR.
• Australian Driver Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to remain living in their own home through respite, personal care, domestic assistance and carer support.
• Provide accurate and timely information about client needs to the Care Advisor.
• Listen to clients and give them a voice to choose for themselves.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering responsive, flexible service to clients and carers.
