Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking kind, patient Home Care Support Workers to assist elderly clients in the Forster/Tuncurry region and surrounding areas. You will perform domestic tasks, meal preparation and some personal care, enabling clients to remain independent at home.

Shifts run Monday to Friday between early morning and late afternoon with a focus on reliability and compassionate care. Training is provided; a valid AU licence and police check are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the elderly is preferred.
• Certificate III or higher in Personal Care / Community Care.
• Valid AU Driver's Licence (full) is required and relocation flexibility.
• Police Check no older than six months, current First Aid and CPR are desirable or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation and domestic support.
• Provide personal care such as grooming and mobility assistance as needed.
• Support clients to access community activities and appointments.
• Travel between client locations using a reliable vehicle; KM reimbursed where applicable.
