Job summary

Wellways Australia is seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our team in Young. You will deliver person-centred support to people living with disability, ensuring they feel safe, valued and supported in their daily lives.

The role offers a variety of shifts, including overnight and weekend work, in participants’ home environments to fit your lifestyle. You bring warmth, reliability and a genuine willingness to help.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification in Individual Support/Community Services is desirable.
• Evidence of working rights within Australia (passport or birth certificate).
• Current valid Driver's Licence and insured vehicle.
• Satisfactory Police Records Check.
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online certificate.

Responsibilities

• Providing respectful personal care and daily living support.
• Supporting participant overnight to ensure comfort and safety.
• Building trusting, caring relationships through consistent and compassionate support.
