Job summary

Aruma is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care for adults, children, and young people with disability in Mooroopna, VIC. You’ll support daily living, goal achievement, and community participation while upholding dignity and independence.

Flexible 7-day availability between 8am–6pm is preferred; drivers license and insured car are beneficial. Join a BRAVE, inclusive team focused on rights-based assistance and a great life for participants.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Ability to work with diverse participants and families.
• Commitment to inclusion, dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, person-centred support to participants.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, and household tasks.
• Promote independence, social inclusion and community participation.
• Follow individual support plans and BSPs as required.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
• Ensure participant safety and safeguarding compliance.
