Job summary

Aruma is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults, children and young people with disability in Mooroopna, VIC. You will deliver person-centered support to help participants achieve goals with dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Commitment to inclusive support for people with disability.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
• Flexible availability across 7 days, 8am–6pm.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist with household and domestic tasks to promote independence.
• Encourage skill development and community participation.
• Implement individual support plans and goals.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and safety procedures.
• Accurately complete progress notes and documentation.
• Build positive relationships with participants, families, carers and stakeholders.
