Job summary

Claro Disability Services is hiring a Disability Support Worker in Marsfield, NSW, to deliver person-centered care for clients with complex needs. You’ll support mobility, daily tasks, and medical plans, while fostering independence and community participation.

The role offers casual hours with rostered shifts, paid induction and travel, and a collaborative clinical team to back you up. You’ll work with families and health professionals to tailor care to each client’s goals and culture.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
• At least one year’s experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Chat with the client and family to understand goals and routines.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and daily tasks.
• Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team.
• Provide social time and community access aligned with interests.
• Support decision-making and respect consent to boost independence.
• Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and cultural norms.
