Job summary
CareChoice is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to people with complex support needs in Wonthaggi and surrounding areas. As part of the CareChoice team you may work across a variety of settings including Supported Independent Living, 24/7 complex supports, and community access, with flexible shifts and ongoing training.
Applicants should have a Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Services,
Qualifications
- Experience supporting people with complex physical needs.
- Person-centred approach to care.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and reliable.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services, or similar.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Employee Working with Children Check.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to people with complex support needs.
- Support across settings including Supported Independent Living, 24/7 complex supports, community access.
- Assist clients to participate in daily activities and build independence.
