Job summary

Calvary is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist aged, disability and high-need clients at home and in the community. You will support daily living activities, provide personal care and social support, and follow care plans outlined by our Client Services Officer.

Daily routines vary, with visits typically short, often a few hours, and sometimes longer based on client needs. A Certificate III in Aged Care is preferred, with a driver’s license and tech comfort beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with aged, disability and high needs clients.
• Effective verbal and written communication with a customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with using smartphones, email and internet for client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Deliver domestic assistance, social support and respite services.
• Follow detailed care plans and client instructions from the Client Services Officer.
