Job summary

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a Care Support Worker to provide in-home and residential assistance across Adelaide Hills communities. The role emphasises compassionate, person-centred support, following care plans, helping with daily living tasks, mobility, and wellbeing within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to safe, clean living environments and participate in ongoing training while aligning with health and safety standards.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment, including equipment and client spaces.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, participate in training and quality improvement activities.
  • Comply with workplace health and safety standards, infection control, confidentiality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

The role provides hands-on, person-centred support to clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. It also contributes to client wellbeing through support with routine treatments, medication assistance under direction, and input into client assessments, ensuring care is responsive to individual needs and aligned with care plans.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role requires the ability to perform duties safely and effectively while exercising judgement and initiative within defined procedures. Ongoing training and skill development are essential, alongside a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, compliance, and continuous improvement to support high-quality care and positive team outcomes.
