Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a caring Carer to provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose in a welcoming aged-care setting.

You will assist with daily tasks, offer companionship, monitor well-being, and work with a multidisciplinary team to uphold residents’ dignity.

You’ll bring a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, NDIA/NDIS Screening, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach; preferred alignment with our values.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance (NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID).
• All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
• A passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (showering, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Support residents with mobility and daily activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care.
