Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Casual Carer to provide high quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, offer companionship and monitor residents’ wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

You’ll need a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Flexible availability across mornings, afternoons or nights is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification (per Australian framework).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
• Qualifications recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (showering, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Support residents with mobility and physical needs.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and preferences.
