MD Homecare is seeking an experienced aged care worker to support older people in their homes or residential settings. You will perform personal care, assist with mobility, meals and medication prompting, while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

Shifts vary from morning to weekend to meet client needs. Qualifications include Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), police and first aid checks, a current driver’s licence, and reliable transport.

Formación

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Current National Police Check; for NDIS‑funded clients, an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid certificate and manual handling training.
• Reliable transport and current Australian driver’s licence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) and assist with mobility, transfers and fall prevention.
• Prepare and serve meals and manage medication prompting and care‑note documentation.
• Perform light household tasks and transport clients to appointments or activities.
• Build and maintain trust with clients and families, adapting to individual routines and preferences.
