Job summary

Carinya Lodge Homes Inc' is seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to fill permanent shifts at our 60-bed aged care facility in Korumburra, VIC. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and provide compassionate, high-quality care.

The role emphasizes teamwork with nursing staff, adherence to strengthened aged care standards, and a supportive, not-for-profit workplace culture. Police check and WWC clearance are required or be willing to obtain.

Qualifications

Experience in providing personal care to elderly individuals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with care team and residents' families
Commitment to safety and quality aged care standards
Current police check and working with children check (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
Monitor health and wellbeing and report any changes
Provide companionship and engage residents in activities
Maintain accurate care records and documentation
Deliver professional, compassionate care meeting aged care standards
