Job summary

Royal Freemasons seeks compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join Monash Gardens Residential Aged Care. You will deliver person-centred personal and clinical care to residents, supporting comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

We value teamwork, ongoing training, and a respectful, inclusive environment. Valid police or NDIS screening and Covid-19 vaccination encouraged; flexible shifts including at least 2 days per week are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care or health services preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of person-centred care and dignity of risk.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts including a minimum 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with personal care including showering, dressing, toileting, mobility and meals.
• Complete accurate care documentation and clinical records.
• Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
• Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing, incidents and hazards.
• Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S, and infection control practices.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Participate in mandatory training and continuous quality improvement activities.
