Job summary

Carinya Lodge Homes in Victoria is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our not-for-profit aged care facility. This permanent role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, including a generous 66 hours per fortnight roster, delivering near full-time hours.

You will provide person-centred nursing care, administer medications, mentor care staff, and ensure care aligns with Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and Carinya’s policies.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care is desirable.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans
• Administer medications and monitor residents’ health and wellbeing
• Lead, mentor, and support personal care assistants and other team members
• Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and facility policies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in continuous improvement
