Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a versatile General Services Officer to join our hospitality team at Mordialloc Grove Care Community in Melbourne. You will rotate across food service, cleaning and laundry, delivering compassionate service to residents and supporting a welcoming environment.

We offer permanent full-time, part-time or casual roles with penalties for weekends/public holidays, 12% superannuation and paid parental leave. Training is provided; pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates genuine care for residents and a customer-focused approach.

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning, or customer service is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Food Service: serve meals, assist dining room operations, and accommodate resident preferences.
• Housekeeping: clean and maintain resident rooms and community areas.
• Laundry: manage residents' personal laundry with care.
• Work as part of a team to ensure a seamless resident experience.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols in all tasks.
