Opal HealthCare's Kardinia Parkside Care Community in Geelong is seeking a versatile General Services Officer to join our hospitality team. You will rotate between food service, housekeeping and laundry, delivering care with warmth and respect.

This hands-on role supports residents daily, with full training provided; the position offers varied duties, flexible hours, and a supportive values-led environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning or customer service is beneficial but training is provided.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Food service: serve meals with care and know resident preferences.
• Housekeeping: keep resident rooms and areas clean, safe and welcoming.
• Laundry: manage residents' personal laundry with respect and care.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive resident experience.
• Follow safety, sanitary and infection control protocols.
