Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking caring Home Care Support Workers to assist our aged care clients in their homes across the Western Downs area, including Chinchilla, Tara, Miles, Jandowae and Meandarra. You will deliver domestic assistance and personal support to help clients remain independent at home and in the community.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or equivalent.
• Exceptional people & interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively; multiple clients per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance and/or personal support to aged care clients in their homes.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality personal care and daily living assistance.
• Collaborate with the Home Care Manager and Care Partners to support clients' independence.
