Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland seeks Registered Nurses to join our SCCQ family at one of our Residential Aged Care Homes in the Western Downs region of Queensland. You will work under Clinical Leaders, providing advanced clinical and holistic care to residents and supporting your team.

SCCQ are looking for Registered Nurses to join our family at one of our Residential Aged Care Homes in Queensland's beautiful Western Downs region.

Southern Cross Care QLD is currently looking for youto join our SCCQ family in the role of an Aged Care Registered Nurse based at one of our Residential Aged Care Homes in the beautiful Western Downs region of Queensland. We have casual and permanent roles available. Whether you'd like to join the team at Illoura Village in Chinchilla, our biggest Home in the area, which has recently gone through an exciting redevelopment or would enjoy the peace and tranquility of a smaller towns like Tara, Miles or Taroom we have the perfect place for you. Chinchilla is located in the vibrant Western Downs Region of Queensland, less than 2 hours' drive west of Toowoomba or less than 4 hours from Brisbane. It provides a hub to the surrounding towns including Miles, Tara or Taroom, which are only a short drive away and may also offer opportunities for you to use and extend your nursing skills.

In this role you will join a team of highly skilled compassionate Nurses in providing excellence in clinical care for our residents. You will work under the leadership of experienced Clinical Leaders to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents. Providing support and supervision to your team members, you will champion a strong teamwork approach to resident’s care. You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members ensuring excellence in personalised care. Most importantly, compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect.

What will you bring to the role?

• You will be an RN with a current AHPRA registration
• You will have a strong clinical focus with the ability to provide a high level of holistic support that best suits the individual
