Job summary

Scalabrini Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Carers to join Griffith Village on a casual basis. The role involves delivering person-centred care under Nursing supervision, empowering residents to maintain choices, and assisting with daily living tasks.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, have experience in aged care or community health, and understand dementia care. Excellent customer service, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is required.
Demonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of dementia care.
Person-centred care is essential; ability to tailor care to residents’ needs.
Outstanding customer service skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
Confidence working in a flexible team environment and strong communication (written and verbal).
Intermediate computer literacy and, if possible, ability to speak other languages (desirable).

Responsibilities

Provide care to residents as part of the care team.
Assist with daily care needs and activities of residents.
Serve meals and assist with feeding when required.
Support residents to participate in activities and maintain choices and preferences.
