Liberty Pace Staffing is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support residents in aged care facilities. You will work alongside nursing and care teams to provide person-centred care that promotes residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Experience in residential aged care is desirable.
• Patient, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Vaccination evidence and screening checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care.
• Support mobility, transfers and positioning.
• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Provide companionship and promote participation.
• Report changes to supervising nurse.
• Maintain documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection prevention procedures.
• Respect residents’ privacy and cultural needs.
• Collaborate with facility staff and follow care plans.
