Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under direction and within scope of practice.
• Understanding of resident rights, dignity and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance and mealtime support.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, social and cultural needs in line with care plans.
• Foster an environment of respect, inclusion, privacy and independence for residents.
• Accurately complete documentation, charts and care records in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, care staff, allied health professionals and other team members.
• Comply with organisational policies, aged care quality standards, WHS requirements and code of conduct.
