Carinya Home for the Aged is seeking caring, reliable people to join our team in Atherton, Queensland. Join a compassionate team delivering person-centred aged care and daily living support in a part-time role.

You will follow resident care plans, respect choices and privacy, encourage participation in activities, and promptly report health changes. Basic computer skills and a current First Aid certificate are valued. Training and vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent is required or highly regarded.
• Basic computer skills to complete documentation.
• Current First Aid certificate is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily support in line with each resident’s care plan.
• Respect residents’ choices, routines, privacy and independence.
• Encourage participation in meaningful activities and daily life.
• Notice and report changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.
• Follow safe work practices and infection prevention procedures.
• Contribute to a welcoming, supportive team.
