Job summary

Alzheimer's Queensland is seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our Toowoomba region team on a casual basis, delivering person-centred care to older Australians aged 65 and over in their own homes and communities. You will provide personal care, social support, meals, light domestic tasks, and maintain clear records.

The role requires about 20 hours per week, a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, First Aid/CPR, a Queensland driver’s licence, a vehicle, a smartphone, and

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care (essential).
• Experience supporting older people in a community setting.
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current Queensland Open Driver's Licence; vehicle with comprehensive insurance; smartphone.
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
