Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking Carers for Castle Hill to provide high-quality, person-centered care. You will assist with daily tasks, attend to residents' physical and emotional wellbeing, and help enhance independence and quality of life.

Role requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans, with shifts including mornings, evenings and nights. Full work rights are required; Casual and Part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience providing personal care in aged care or similar healthcare setting.
• NDIS workers screening check clearance.
• Australian working rights appropriate to the position.
• Availability to work shifts (morning, evening and night).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and other physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe, monitor and accurately document residents' care and progress.
• Follow individual care plans and respond to residents' needs and preferences.
• Escalate changes in a resident's condition to the Registered Nurse or leader.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain residents' privacy, dignity, safety and independence.
