Job summary

Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney is seeking a Community Workforce Coordinator in Sydney’s Breakthru program. The role focuses on staffing operations, roster creation, and payroll support, working in the disability and community services sector.

The successful candidate will manage 4-week rosters, handle planned and unplanned leave, and support recruitment while ensuring compliance with industry awards. A collaborative, community-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Rostering experience in disability services or community programs.
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Administrative and organisational capabilities including record-keeping.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant industry awards.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with rostering software.
• Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain).
• Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive staffing operations and workforce support for Disability Services & Accommodation Support.
• Create and publish 4-week rosters and manage leave replacements.
• Maintain roster records and perform related administrative tasks.
• Support payroll functions and payroll-related reporting.
• Assist casual pool recruitment activities and initiatives.

About the role… To provide responsive staffing operations and workforce support to the Disability Services & Accommodation Support. Responsible for but not limited to creating and publishing 4-week rosters, replacement of planned & unplanned leave, maintaining roster records & related administrative tasks, supporting payroll functions, employee/staffing reports, support casual pool recruitment activities and initiatives.
