Key duties include field-based work, responding to inquiries, maintaining records and applying Local Laws with professionalism and fairness. Applicants must meet qualification criteria and be prepared for after-hours roster requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply and enforce relevant Local Laws and policies.
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to undertake field-based work including parking patrols and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with community members to resolve concerns through education and compliance activities.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and businesses using negotiation and communication skills.
• Promote a professional and customer-focused image of Council within the community.
• Respond to requests, maintain records and contribute to the Local Laws team's operation.
• Interpret and enforce relevant legislation and Local Laws as required.
• Participate in the after-hours roster and undertake parking patrols across the municipality.
