Job summary

Mounties Group is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to provide in-home care across Queensland, including Coomera, Currumbin, Robina, Southport and Logan. Roles are casual or part-time, supporting clients to live independently with dignity.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, errands and social engagement for residents across QLD, with flexible scheduling and ongoing training. Ideal candidates hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support, have experience in aged care or

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification.
• Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year.
• NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
• Must have own car & relevant insurances
• Dementia care qualification – desirable
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Accompanying clients during daily activities, errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping assistance.
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing.
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Providing social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients across Coomera, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.

More Specifically, Some Of Your Duties May Include

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings


• Food preparation and shopping


• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing


• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes


• Providing social interaction and companionship


• Transport to appointments

About You

• Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential


• Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year


• Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain


• Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination


• Current Police Check – or willing to obtain


• Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain


• Must have own car & relevant insurances


• Dementia care qualification – desirable


• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
