Job summary

Mounties Care in Queensland is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to join our in-home care team across Currumbin, QLD on a casual or part-time basis. You will provide support for clients, including assisting with daily activities, personal care, meals, shopping and companionship, helping them live independently with dignity.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in aged care or disability for at least 1 year.
• NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid certificate including CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Must have own car and relevant insurances.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients during daily activities, running errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping for clients.
• Assist in personal care and hygiene (showering, dressing).
• Perform household tasks (cleaning, washing, folding clothes).
• Provide social interaction and companionship.
• Transport clients to appointments.
